Clarence Erbie Wolfe, 77, of Butler, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Thursday, September 23, 2021. Born on November 26, 1943 in Falmouth, KY, he was a son of the late Ashland and Hilda Auchter Wolfe. A 1962 graduate of Falmouth High School, Clarence worked as a packing specialist with General Electric for 32 years and as a driver with Jay Gee Manufacturing for 10 years. Clarence was an avid UK Basketball fan and a huge supporter of Pendleton County Wildcat Basketball. He loved to golf and would travel to various courses with a special group of friends. He is survived by his five children: Cheri Griffin (Tom) of Butler, Deron Wolfe (Amy) and Brad Wolfe, both of Falmouth, and Jim Wolfe (Brenda) and Sarah Browning, both of Butler; his grandchildren: Josh Wolfe (Samantha), Chelsea Heilman (Tyler), Bradie Huffman (Travis), Kendall Gibson (Grant), Austin Hatton (McKayla), James Wolfe, Wade Browning, Brooklyn Browning, Ashlee Lewis, and Kaitlyn Reinhardt; his great grandchildren: Gavin, Lucas, and Blake Wolfe, Griffin Rose Heilman, Sutton Gibson, Scarlett Huffman, and two on the way; his brothers: Kevan Wolfe (Brenda), Donnie Wolfe, and Rick Wolfe; his sisters: Gerri Hampton and Paula LaFollette (Ken); as well as a host of friends! In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by brothers: Dorcie Wolfe and Boyd Wolfe; and sisters: Bea King and Carletta Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Kevin Barnard officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Grant Gibson, James Wolfe, Josh Wolfe, Wade Browning, Tyler Heilman, Austin Hatton, Travis Huffman, and Tom Griffin. Honorary pallbearers will be John Monroe, Bill Ockerman, Dickie King, Larry Booth, and Kenny Ice. The visitations will be from 2-6 pm on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the funeral home and from 1-2 pm on Monday preceding his service. Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
