Estille Ray Vaughn

Estille Ray Vaughn, 83, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born on July 29, 1938 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Bart and Anna Mae Godman Vaughn. After high school, Estille earned his Tool & Die Engineer Certification from OMI, and he worked for both American Standard and Kawneer. For most of his life, Estille was a self-employed coal mining operator and new construction home builder. He married Gloria Vaughn, and his wife preceded him in death on July 30, 2018. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Morgan Christian Church, Pendleton County. He married Nancy Browning and they had four children: Debra Williams (Dennis) and Lisa McDonald, both of Lexington, KY, Robin Walker (Ben) of Nicholasville, KY, and Bart Vaughn (Abby) of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren: Timothy McDonald, Jr., Coleton McDonald, Taylor Walraven, Benjamin Walker, III, and Dr. Madison Vaughn-Conrad; six great grandchildren: Cadence McDonald, Timothy McDonald, III (Trey), Harvey McDonald, Henry Walraven, Kenadie Walker, and William Walker, IV (Will); five siblings: Beulah Moore of Paris, KY, Betty Blakeman of Louisville, KY, Russell Vaughn of Cynthiana, KY, Jo Ann Schmitt of Paris, KY, and Gayle Vaughn of Cynthiana, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Delbert Vaughn and Ronald Vaughn. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry, is caring for the family. Interment will take place in the Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.
