Hallie Frances Holmes Hart, 91, of Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, May 03, 2011, at her home. Born in Pendleton County on January 21, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Reece and Fannie Haley Holmes. On December 24, 1938, she married Charles Melvin Hart and her dear husband preceded her in death on April 22, 1998. She was a member of the Falmouth Christian Church, where she was a deaconess and elder, a member of C.W.F. (Christian Women’s Fellowship) and a Sunday School Teacher. She was a homemaker, a member of the Pendleton County Democratic Women’s Club, a member of the Pendleton County Homemakers, a Kentucky Colonel, and a past president and member of the Falmouth Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cletus Holmes and a sister, Christine Jones. She is survived by her son, Keevil Hart (Pat) of Falmouth; four grandchildren: Phillip Hart and Mark Hart (Lisa), both of Falmouth, and Marty Hart (Julie) and Angie Lovelace (Doug), both of Alexandria; 10 great grandchildren: Jacob Hart, Kayla Hart, Kasey Lovelace, Ryan Lovelace, Mason Lovelace, Brandon Hart, Logan Hart, Molly Hart, Hannah Hart, and Morgan Hart; and one great great grandson, Ryland Hart; two sisters: Vivian Smith of Rushville, Indiana and Wanda Taylor of Falmouth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the Falmouth Christian Church, 303 W. Shelby Street, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040, with Bro. Clay Sullivan and Bro. Joe Hall officiating. Music will be shared by Adarin Williams and Michael Cummins. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Hart, Brandon Hart, Mason Lovelace, Ryan Lovelace, Steve Taylor, and David Smith. The honorary pallbearers will be Billy Conrad, Logan Hart, Randy Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Carol Houchen, Doug Lovelace, Lewis Jones, and Michael Smith. The visitation will be from 5-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Interment will take place in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.
