Herman H. Williams July 23, 1936 - December 12, 2007 Herman H. Williams, 71, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at the St. Luke Hospital East in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. Born on July 23, 1936 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Edwin and Anna Lee McClanahan Williams. On October 1, 1955, he married Wilma Jean Moorhead Williams, and his dear wife survives his passing. He was a self-employed dump truck driver, retiring in 2002. He was also a farmer and a talented musician. Herman was well known for his country music fiddle playing. He enjoyed sharing his talent as a member of the band Orange Blossom Special. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ, the Woodmen of the World Lodge, and the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Marvin and Delmer Williams, and his loving son-in-law, Wayne Ware. In addition to his wife of 52 years, Wilma Jean Williams, he is survived by three daughters: Jeanie Lou Trapp, Janice Ann (Mark) Godman, and Susan Marie (Kenneth L.) Pugh, all of Falmouth; 4 grandchildren: Stephanie Jo Trapp, Shannon Pugh, Samantha Jean Godman, and Lindsay Elizabeth Godman; 4 great grandchildren: Megan Ciara Trapp, Marissa Lynn Trapp, Chelsea Brianna Trapp, and Dakota Robert Wayne Trapp; 2 brothers: Adarin Williams of Falmouth and Ronnie Williams of Butler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2007, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Gary Figgins and Bro. Doug Beard officiating. The visitation will be from 5-9:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Music will be shared by Brandon Godman. Interment will take place in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Kentucky 41056.
