James E. Williams, 78, of Florence, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the Bridgepoint Center in Florence. Born on April 21, 1939 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late W. Webster and Lonada Miller Williams. A former employee of “The Falmouth Outlook”, “Jimmy” was a member of the Falmouth Christian Church. He is survived by four children: Marie (Larry) Winkle of Falmouth, Tammy (Jay) McDaniels of Mentor, KY, Janie Nunnelley of Cynthiana, KY, and James E. Williams, Jr. of Falmouth, KY; 9 grandchildren: Krista Winkle, Brandon Winkle, Rodger Colemire, Jr., Heather Brearton, Oakie Barnes, Stacey Slade, James Slade, Jr., Christopher McDaniel, and Shawn McDaniel; 16 great grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Powers of Independence, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Iris Rose Barnes Williams; his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nancy Sue Williams; his two nephews: Travis and Daniel Webster; and a special friend, Shirley Williams. The visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, from 4-8 pm at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Interment will take place in the Sunrise Cemetery, Harrison County.
