Leah Rowell September 24, 1979 - October 9, 2009 Leah Ann Yates Rowell, age 30 of Cynthiana, Kentucky formerly of Okeechobee, Florida, passed away Friday October 9, 2009, at the Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana after an extended illness. She was born in Okeechobee, Florida on September 24, 1979, the daughter of Lonnie & Beverly Atchley Yates of Okeechobee, Florida. On August 14, 2004, she married George Rowell, and her dear husband survives her passing. She was a bookkeeper for the Cynthiana Family Chiropractic Center. In addition to her parents, Lonnie and Beverly Yates, and her husband, George Rowell, she is survived by a son, Leland Dekota Rowell; 5 brothers; Kenneth Leroy Yates, Matthew Yates, Donnie Yates, Kenneth King Jr. all of Okeechobee, Florida, and Stephen Ray Yates of Utah; 3 sisters; Shannon Yates, Brandie Yates and Teresa King all of Okeechobee, Florida. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009, at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth, Kentucky, with Rev. Mike Hays and Anthony Frazier officiating. Interment will take place in the Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 15, 2009, from 5-9 p.m. at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth, Kentucky.
