Margaret Elizabeth McCann

Margaret Elizabeth McCann, 87, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Hospice of Hope in Maysville, KY. Born on November 21, 1925 in Pendleton County, KY, she was a daughter of the late James Edward and Tirah Belle Turner Bishop. She married Bro. James J. McCann, a Christian Church Minister, who preceded her in death on September 17, 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Mills Christian Church, Harrison County. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Alvin Bishop. She is survived by her son, James E. (Connie) McCann and her daughter, Tirah (Larry) Clemons, both of Falmouth, KY; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters: Eula Reynolds of Florence, KY and Wanda Fryman of Georgetown, KY; one brother, Dr. Marvin Bishop of Winchester, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Bill Wilson and Bro. Jim Flaugher officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be William Gates, Eugene Gates, Jimmy Dale McCann, Brian McCann, Chad McCann, and Justin McCann. The honorary pallbearers will be Tristan Knox, Jordan Herron, Jason Herron, and Donovan Knox. Special music will be shared by Adarin Williams. The visitation will be from 11-1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Lenoxburg Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice.
