Mary Christine Fieger Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary Christine Fieger, 75, of Perry Park, KY, passed away on July 21, 2021 at the Gallatin Health Care in Warsaw. Born on August 16, 1945 in Bridgend, South Wales, Mary was the daughter of the late Lewis Lawrence and Esther Morgan Ratkiewicz. Coming to the United States at six months of age, she was raised in Jackson, MI. On January 22, 1972, she married Gerald A. Fieger, Sr., and together they raised their two sons while working and making incredible memories. Mary was dedicated to her husband and sons. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Ratkrewicz. For 25 years, Mary worked as a sales assistant with Pitney Bowes in Cincinnati, OH, retiring in 2005. In addition to her husband of 49 years, Gerald, she is survived by two sons: Gerald A. Fieger, Jr. “Jerry” (Lindsey) of Falmouth, KY and Timothy Fieger of Independence, KY; 4 grandchildren: Ben Fieger, Caitlin Fieger, Luke Fieger, & Charlee Fieger; her sister, Wendy Wirth (Tim) of Jackson, MI ; her brother Russell Ratkiewicz (Dannae) of Jackson, MI ; and a host of extended family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 16, 2021, at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1335 Highway 22, Owenton, KY, with Fr. Barth officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather from 9-10:00 a.m. preceding the mass. Inurnment will take place in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital: 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
