Roy Leland Wilson

Roy Leland Wilson, 83, of Berry, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at his home. Born in Falmouth, KY on March 13, 1932 , he was the son of the late Roy Lester and Mary Margaret Hand Wilson. On October 13, 1951 he married Betty Crofford Wilson, and his dear wife and loving companion survives his passing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Danny Wilson on February 18, 1953 and Rodney Lee Wilson on June 14, 2007; two grandsons: Joshua Wilson Browning on June 19, 2009 and James Christopher Wilson on December 25, 2012. He was the last of his immediate family. Roy Leland was a dedicated and well-known Pendleton County farmer. In addition to his wife of 63 years, Betty, he is survived by two daughters: Pat Browning and Nancy Crotty, both of Falmouth, KY; six sons: Jim Wilson of Berry, KY, Joe Wilson of Berry, KY, Rick Wilson of Falmouth, KY, Bill Wilson of Berry, KY, David Wilson of Falmouth, KY, and Mike Wilson of Berry, KY; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials are suggested to the Joshua Browning Scholarship Fund or the Morgan Cemetery.
