Tod Perrin

Prince Tod Perrin, 63, of Williamstown, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Born on October 6, 1959, in Cynthiana, KY, Tod was the son of the late Carlos Gene and Mary Louise Dunaway Perrin. A 1978 Harrison County High School graduate, Tod owned and operated Dixie Lawn & Landscaping for many years. Most recently, he worked as a forklift driver with area shipping and freight companies. Remembered as a peaceful, free-spirited and tender-hearted man, Tod died unexpectedly at home where he spent most of this time, listening to music, playing guitar, and living simply. He worked hard at everything he did. Tod enjoyed riding his motorcycle and most assuredly had a steady stream of Bob Seger songs in his beautiful head when he rode. He had an infectious laugh that made all around him laugh too. In recent years, he enjoyed hunting with Barry Hill, his brother-in-law. Tod lived consistently by the motto “Live and Let Live,” and his family respected him greatly for that. He was dearly loved, and his family will cherish their memories of him, as they walk across the family farm where he will rest eternally. He is survived by two sisters: Carla (Barry) Hill of Cynthiana, KY and Bobbye Gresh (Michael Doak) currently of Sandwich, MA; nieces and nephews: Codye (Robbie) McCann, Lucas (Kristen) Hill, Levi (Michelle) Hill, Carver (Kourtney) Hill, and Mary Belle Gresh; and a host of extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life for Tod Perrin will be held Friday, March 3rd at 4:00 pm at Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry, KY with K. Bruce Florence officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at 3:00 pm preceding the Celebration of Life service and are welcome to stay. Family and friends who are not able to join us in person are invited to pause on Friday, March 3rd at 4:00 pm and enjoy a favorite song to honor Tod’s life well and honorably lived. Tod would find deep appreciation and joy in being celebrated this way, and it will warm his family’s hearts too. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society: c/o Harrison County Relay for Life or Hospice of the Bluegrass, both organizations which have impacted the family meaningfully over the years.
