Betty Reynolds Coleman

Betty Reynolds Coleman, 93, of Edgewood, KY, formerly of Taylor Mill and Falmouth, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Maple Knoll Village in Cincinnati, OH, after a special visit with all of her children. Born in Falmouth, Kentucky on August 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Edward Earl Reynolds and Mary Frances Schuetz Reynolds. The love story of William Burke Coleman, Sr., and Betty began long before their marriage on November 25, 1954, and blessed them with 55 years of marriage, 5 children, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, a lifetime of laughs and Irish wit, all wrapped tightly in their faith. Led by her servant’s heart, Betty sought ways to support others in her St. Pius Parish family, as a volunteer with Be Concerned, and with devoted attention to the needs of her family, friends, and neighbors. The presence of her love remains with all of the lives she touched. Surviving to continue her legacy are her children: William B. Coleman, Jr. (Maureen), Ellen A. Isfort (Robert), Kathleen M. Kraushar, Julie M. Franke (Paul), Joseph E. Coleman (Elizabeth); 16 grandchildren: Katie Sheridan (Brendan), Susan Schearer (Eric), Ella Schneider (Matt), W. Burke Coleman (Chelsea), John Coleman (Johnny), Robert W. Isfort (Holly), Anna Isfort (Edward), Michael Isfort (Maria), Christopher Kraushar, Grant Kraushar, Paul C. Franke, Mary Schwartz (Taylor), John Franke, Greta Coleman, William Coleman, and Matthew Coleman; 21 great grandchildren; two sisters: Margie Klee and Judy Woodhead (Dan); and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Mary Kay Gronotte and Frances Kelly; her brother Edward J. Reynolds; sisters-in-law: Marilyn Reynolds, Ellen Anne Coleman, and Margaret Mary Littelmann; and brothers-in-law: Joe Gronotte, Paul V. Klee, Sr., Ernest Kelly, John J. Coleman and Paul P. Coleman. Visitation will be from 12-1:30 pm on Friday, October 18, 2024, at St. Francis Xavier Church, Falmouth, KY, with Mass of Christian Burial following at 1:30 pm, officiated by Rev. Britton Hennessey. Interment will take place in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth, immediately followed by an invitation for food and fellowship at the St. Francis Xavier Parish Hall.
