Marilyn Clare Roth Reynolds

Marilyn Clare Roth Reynolds, 78, of Crestview Hills, KY, formerly of Falmouth, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Carmel Manor in Ft. Thomas. Born on June 28, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH, she was the only child of the late Robert A. and Clara M. (Sonderman) Roth. A 1956 graduate and class valedictorian of Falmouth High School, she married Edward Joseph Reynolds on June 1, 1957, and her dear husband of 46 years preceded her in death on November 9, 2003. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Marilyn loved the arts and fostered a love of music in all of her children. She loved musical theatre and sewing, so when she and her family lived in Zanesville, OH, she welcomed the opportunity to make all of the costumes for Zanesville Community Theatre’s production of “The Sound of Music.” Many of her family and friends will cherish the afghans made by Marilyn, which she often shared as gifts. She is survived by her four children: Gerard Edward Reynolds ( Sheila) of Spencerport, New York, Theresa Geralyn Brun (Jay) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Maria Majella Reynolds (Thomas) of Covington, Kentucky and Edward Gerard Reynolds (Laura) of Independence, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren: Andrew Brun, George Sparks III, Taylor Reynolds Benner, Sarah Reynolds, Stephen Reynolds, Megan Sparks, Alex Brun, Evan Reynolds, Daniel Reynolds, Kyle Brun, and Ana Reynolds; one great granddaughter, Kaitlin Grace Brun; her sisters-in-law: Marge Klee (Paul), Betty Coleman, and Judy Woodhead (Dan) and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Curtis Edward Reynolds. The visitation will be from 10:00-11:45 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Woodhead Funeral Home, 310 W. Shelby Street, Falmouth, KY 41040. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon at St. Francis Xavier Church, 202 Second Street, Falmouth, KY. Interment will take place in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth.
