Eva Sharlene Mahon

November 17, 1949 - February 19, 2014

Eva Sharlene Mahon, 64, of Norwood, OH, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at her home. Born in Cincinnati, OH on November 17, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Warren G. and Ella Cummins Davis. She retired from CVS after working for 30 years as a cashier at the Vine and Hartwell location in Cincinnati. She was also a UFCW representative. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Davis and her sister, Sally Sharon. In addition to her husband of 33 years, Gary Mahon, she is survived by 4 children: Kimberly Rutter (Mark) of Little River, SC, Angela Chambers (Buddy) of Miami Township, OH, Roger Chambers of Norwood, OH, and Mark Mahon (Sara) of Fairfield, OH; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Roger Slater (Karen) of Madison, IN; and 1 sister, Shirley Hunley of Clifton, OH. Funeral service at 1 pm, Monday, February 24, 2014, at Victory Baptist Church, 3837 Elsmere Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45212. Visitation from 12-1 pm on Monday at the church. Interment will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Neave Cemetery, Bracken County.
