Rasceal A. Ruber

January 22, 1944 - August 2, 2017

Rasceal Ruber, 73, of Falmouth, KY, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from an apparent heart attack. Born in Covington, KY on Jan. 22, 1944, he was the son of the late Raymond and Anna Zilpha Tebelman Ruber. A 1962 graduate of Pendleton High School, Rasceal was a lifelong Pendleton County farmer. On September 7, 1963, he married Betty Jane Platt Ruber, who preceded him in death on April 2, 2001. On April 28, 2007, he married Zhenya Ruber, who survives his passing. In addition to Zhenya, he is survived by two sons: Darrin Ruber and Cliff (Nikki) Ruber, both of Butler, KY; three grandchildren: Kendall, Kourtnie, and Kyle Ruber; two sisters: Raetta (Wendell) Porter of Carrollton, KY and Angie (Michael) Gibson of Grant’s Lick, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Marvin Sullivan officiating. The visitation will be from 1-4:00 p.m. on Sunday preceding the service. Interment will take place in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.
